The Little Rickshaw
A hatted modern South-East Asian eatery in a tin-shed building in historic Aldinga village, with a tight share-plate menu and natural wines.
A tin shed in Aldinga village
The Little Rickshaw occupies a converted tin shed on Old Coach Road in Aldinga's historic village precinct, a few doors from the Aldinga Hotel. The fitout is deliberately rough - exposed steel, concrete floor, communal tables - and the kitchen runs a tight, modern South-East Asian share-plate menu.
What's on the plate
The menu leans Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian, with a strong vegetable focus and good vegan and gluten-free options. A natural wine list and a short cocktail menu round it out.
Awards
The Little Rickshaw has held a Good Food Guide hat for several years running and is regularly listed among South Australia's best regional restaurants.
