Home Grain Bakery has been one of the Fleurieu's best loved sourdough bakeries from its original Aldinga shop, and the McLaren Flat outpost on Main Road carries the full range - long-fermented sourdough loaves, the famous pies, sausage rolls, sourdough doughnuts and morning bun pastries.

Cafe seating

A small front cafe area sells coffee and lets you eat in. Most people get takeaway and head to a winery or back to the beach with a bag of pies.

How early

Opens early. Bread and pastries come out of the oven through the morning - get there before mid-morning for the full range.
