The Cape's one pub

Cape Jervis Tavern is the sole pub at the end of the Fleurieu Peninsula, sitting on Main South Road a few minutes from the SeaLink ferry terminal to Kangaroo Island. It runs as a classic country pub - a front bar, a dining area and a takeaway counter - serving counter meals from lunch through to dinner.

Food, beds and a ferry stop

The kitchen works through a straightforward pub menu of burgers, schnitzels, pastas, Thai curries and locally caught fish. The tavern also has seven basic motel-style units (family room, double rooms and fold-out doubles) with ensuites, linen and fridges - useful for travellers on early ferries to Kangaroo Island. Hours: lunch 12-2pm, dinner 6-8pm.
