A New York sommelier in McLaren Vale
Brash Higgins is the project of Brad Hickey, a former New York sommelier who landed in McLaren Vale and began making experimental small-batch wines using traditional techniques including amphora ageing and native ferments. His Nero d'Avola, Grenache and Shiraz are regularly cited among the region's most interesting cult wines.
